The Denver Broncos defeated the Caroline Panthers 24-10 to win Super Bowl 50.
By starting that game, 39-year-old Peyton Manning became the oldest quarterback to ever play in a Super Bowl. He ending up going 13-for-23 and threw for a mediocre 141 yards with an interception.
As for opposing quarterback Cam Newton, the newly crowned MVP was only able to accumulate ten points against the solid Denver defense while throwing an intersection – but probably the most painful of all: becoming a internet sensation overnight (not in the good way).
And my personal favorite…..
Another notable performance came from Von Miller who made five tackles and 2.5 sacks, which earned him Super Bowl MVP honors.
Many speculated this to be Manning’s final game, but the 5x league MVP would not give a definitive answer.
“I’ll take some time to reflect, I got a couple proprieties first.” said Manning after the game clock struck zero and the media rushed onto the field.
“I want to go kiss my wife and my kids; I want to go and hug my family. I’m going to drink a lot of Budweiser tonight, I promise you that.”
Not only did Manning win his second Super Bowl in his legendary career, but that victory made him the quarterback with the most wins (200) in NFL history passing Brett Favre.
P.S. Cam, I’d be lying if I didn’t say it does hurt me a little to hear Migos’ “Look At My Dab” now. But you’re only 26 so you’ll get yours one day, there will be plenty more dabs to be had in the future.

You will once again sometime soon Cam………..you will…
